Not every cat is born a purebred, purrfect Persian kitty! A lot of adopted cats had unfortunate pasts, but that doesn't mean that they are any less lovable! Each person in this post has a disabili-kitty (we just coined this term and we're really proud of it), AKA, a cat that has some form of disability but is completely loved and totally handicapable. All these posts just made our heart swell with joy and pride at how amazing and compassionate cat owners can be!

Don't feel bad for all of the arrrrrr-dorable pirate kitties to terrific tripod cats, they're living their best lives with their new owners and absolutely loving it. You don't have to have two eyes to see all the wholesomeness here, it's practically pouncing at us through the screen!     Good thing you don't need your eyes to smile, because this blind kitty has a smile that could charm even the iciest heart! Cats are pretty good at finding their way around, even without eyes, and lucky that it has a loving owner to kiss their head when they accidentally bonk it by mistake.

    Not all disabilities are visual to the naked eye, like this adorable Orion. He may look purrfectly normal in this photo, but we're sure that if you saw him walking, you would fall in love with his little drunk walk in a heartbeat.

    Cat - Paintinmypjs +2.9 hr. ago Clarence has crossed eyes (convergent strabismus) birth defect. Makes her a bit wobbly on her feet, she has poor peripheral vision and is almost fully deaf. She's such a sweetheart and is around 16 now.

    Cat - deadasfvckk 9 hr. ago This is Samba. She's a rescue cat and when she was found as a stray her pelvis was shattered, best guess is she was hit by a car. She can't jump much higher than the bed, has an eye that tends to veer off in the wrong direction, can't run very fast and tends to topple over sometimes due to her weak back legs. She takes it in her stride though and will just accept that she's fallen and just chill out there for a while like it was planned all along! She's my soul mate.
